We have three lovely separate playgrounds with natural shade, shade sails, and AstroTurf on all of them.
Two of our playgrounds have garden boxes. In the spring, the children discuss and plan their garden. Then they are encouraged to help plant, maintain, harvest and prepare the fresh produce.
Our lunches are served family style. Your child practices their social skills, manners and serving themselves, which gives them the confidence to be independent.
Our delicious menu is created and cooked fresh daily by our full time chef and we do not repeat any dishes or snacks twice in a month.

Our classrooms have a wide variety of activity stations that coordinate with our weekly themes. Your child is encouraged to be inventive, an explorer, and expand their mind without electronic devices.

Each child has individual space for their personal belongings.
When it is time to move up, your child will visit their new classroom so they will feel comfortable with their new surroundings and staff. Most moves are done in August of each year.
We plan monthly field trips between May and October for ages 2 to 5 years old. Our school age friends also go on field trips during summer camp.
Our teachers, have early childhood degrees. All staff take part in yearly workshops, seminars and conferences to continue their education with a minimum of 20 hours; including CPR/First Aide.
Infants are cared for on their own schedule and individual needs. Daily infant and toddler sheets tell you about your child’s day.
Orion School buses pick up and drop off at Charger Child Care. A teacher is with them at all times.
